The Wilmington Library is looking for students in 5th, 6th, or 7th grade who: like to read, like answering trivia questions, and like to win prizes. Does this sound like you or anyone you know? If yes, then the Take a Bite out of Books (TABOB) Competition may be for you.  TABOB is a Jeopardy style trivia competition, where participants read the same 6 books and face off against teams from area libraries, by answering questions about the books.  This year’s books are Okay for Now by Gary Schmidt, Walls Within Walls by Maureen Sherry, Troubletwisters: The Magic by Garth Nix, Touch Blue by Cynthia Lord, Dead End in Norvelt by Jack Gantos, and Candy Bomber by Michael O. Tunnell.  The students who compete will be provided with copies of all 6 books, and a team t-shirt.
The 2014 TABOB Competition will take place on June 28th at 9:30 at the Champlain Centre Mall. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact the Library at 518-946-7701.
